Privacy
Protecting personal data is of paramount importance to Zollcon GmbH. Personal data that you provide to us when visiting our websites are processed in accordance with the applicable legal provisions on data protection. The term “personal data” is defined in the GDPR. Accordingly, these are details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your real name, address, telephone number, or date of birth.
You can generally visit our websites without telling us who you are. We only learn technical data such as the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you come, and the websites you visit with us. When requesting content from this internet offer, access data is stored. These are data about the page from which the file was requested, the name of the requested file, the date, time and duration of the request, the amount of data transferred, and the access status (e.g., file transferred, file not found). Additionally, the IP addresses of the requesting computers are logged.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection. In the case of collecting data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session is ended.
The collection of this data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility of objection on the part of the user.
These stored data are evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes and in no case passed on to third parties.
For statistical purposes, we record user behavior on our pages. No personal data is stored in the process. This site uses cookies. Cookies are text information files that your web browser stores on your computer when you open one of our web pages. We use this cookie technology to facilitate navigation. If you want to prevent the use of cookies, you can refuse the acceptance of cookies in your browser. Please refer to the instructions of your browser manufacturer for details.
If there is an option within the Zollcon GmbH internet offer to enter personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses), the disclosure of these data by the user is voluntary. Zollcon GmbH will not pass on these data. They are used exclusively for internal evaluations.
Personal data are collected by us when you communicate them to us of your own accord, for example when you contact us. We will, of course, use the personal data transmitted to us in this way exclusively for the purpose for which you provided them to us when contacting us. The provision of this information is expressly voluntary and with your consent. Insofar as this information concerns communication channels (e.g., email address, telephone number), you also agree that we may contact you via these communication channels to answer your request. You can, of course, withdraw your consent at any time for the future. Please contact our data protection officer, whose contact details you will find below, for this purpose.
Security
We have taken extensive technical and operational precautions to protect your data from accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress.

To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this page has no influence on this data transfer. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and an easy findability of the places we have indicated on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. More information on handling user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.
Google reCAPTCHA
On this website, we also use the reCAPTCHA function of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). This function is mainly used to distinguish whether an entry is made by a natural person or is misused by machine and automated processing. The service includes sending the IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google and is carried out according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in determining individual responsibility on the Internet and avoiding abuse and spam. In the context of using Google reCAPTCHA, it may also lead to the transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.
Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy can be viewed at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used. Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
YouTube Video Display
We have included YouTube videos from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, in our online offer, which are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website to improve user-friendliness and presentation of various contents (e.g., activities of Zollcon GmbH OHG). In these purposes also lies our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Our videos are embedded in the so-called “extended data protection mode” to allow you a data protection-friendly view. When you play the videos, a connection to a YouTube server is established. This transmits to YouTube which of our internet pages you have visited.
If you are logged in as a member of YouTube, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. When using the service, such as clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account and other user accounts of the companies YouTube LLC and Google Inc. before using our internet presence and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies. Further information on data processing and notes on data protection by YouTube can be found at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
Social Media Plugins
Plugins from social media are used on our pages (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Only when you activate the respective plugin by clicking the corresponding button is a direct connection established to the provider’s server (consent). Once you activate the plugin, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you are simultaneously logged into your respective social media account (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), the respective provider can assign the visit to our pages to your user account.
Activating the plugin constitutes consent within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
Privacy Policy for the Use of Instagram Plugins
Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from Instagram, which is operated by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”). The plugins are marked with an Instagram logo, for example, in the form of an “Instagram camera”.
When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Instagram’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Instagram directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Instagram receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram profile or are not currently logged in to Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to an Instagram server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged into Instagram, Instagram can directly associate your visit to our website with your Instagram account. If you interact with the plugins, for example, press the “Instagram” button, this information is also transmitted directly to an Instagram server and stored there. The information is also published on your Instagram account and shown there to your contacts.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Instagram, as well as your rights in this regard and settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388/
If you do not want Instagram to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Instagram account, you must log out of Instagram before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Instagram plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g., with the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

Information on all Facebook plugins can be found via the following link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address.
If you click the Facebook “Like-Button” while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We point out that we as the provider of the pages have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and their use by Facebook. Further information can be found in the privacy policy of Facebook at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not wish Facebook to be able to assign visits to our pages to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

If you click the “Recommend-Button” of LinkedIn and are logged into your account at LinkedIn, it is possible for LinkedIn to assign your visit to our Internet site to you and your user account. We point out that we as the provider of the pages have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and their use by LinkedIn.

Online Meetings, Conference Calls, and Webinars via Zoom
Purpose of Processing
We use the tool “Zoom” to conduct telephone conferences, online meetings, video conferences, and/or webinars (hereinafter: “Online Meetings”). “Zoom” is a service of Zoom Video Communications, Inc., which is based in the USA.
Responsible Party
The responsible party for data processing directly related to the conduct of “Online Meetings” is Zollcon GmbH GmbH.
Note: If you access the “Zoom” website, the “Zoom” provider is responsible for data processing. However, accessing the website is only necessary to download the software for using “Zoom”.
You can also use “Zoom” if you enter the respective meeting ID and, if necessary, further access data for the meeting directly in the “Zoom” app.
If you do not want or cannot use the “Zoom” app, then the basic functions can also be used via a browser version, which you can also find on the “Zoom” website.
Which Data is Processed?
Various types of data are processed when using “Zoom”. The extent of the data also depends on the data you provide before or during participation in an “Online Meeting”.
The following personal data are subject to processing:
User details: first name, last name, phone (optional), email address, password (if “Single Sign-On” is not used), profile picture (optional), department (optional)
Meeting metadata: topic, description (optional), participant IP addresses, device/hardware information
For recordings (optional): MP4 file of all video, audio, and presentation recordings, M4A file of all audio recordings, text file of the online meeting chat.
When dialing in with the phone: information on incoming and outgoing call number, country name, start and end time. Further connection data, such as the IP address of the device, can possibly be stored.
Text, audio, and video data: You may have the opportunity to use the chat, question, or survey functions in an “Online Meeting”. To this extent, the text entries you make are processed in order to display and, if necessary, log them in the “Online Meeting”. To enable the display of video and the playback of audio, data from the microphone of your device and from any video camera of the device are processed accordingly during the duration of the meeting. You can turn off or mute the camera or microphone at any time yourself via the “Zoom” applications.
To participate in an “Online Meeting” or to enter the “Meeting Room”, you must at least provide information about your name.
Scope of Processing
We use “Zoom” to conduct “Online Meetings”. If we want to record “Online Meetings”, we will transparently inform you in advance and – if necessary – ask for consent. The fact of the recording will also be displayed in the “Zoom” app.
If it is necessary for the purposes of logging the results of an online meeting, we will log the chat content. However, this will usually not be the case.
In the case of webinars, we may also process the questions asked by webinar participants for the purpose of recording and following up on webinars.
If you are registered as a user at “Zoom”, then reports of “Online Meetings” (meeting metadata, data on telephony entry, questions and answers in webinars, survey function in webinars) can be stored at “Zoom” for up to one month.
Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is not used.
Legal Basis of Data Processing
Insofar as personal data of employees of Zollcon GmbH OHG are processed, § 26 BDSG is the legal basis for data processing. If, in connection with the use of “Zoom”, personal data are not required for the establishment, performance, or termination of the employment relationship, but are nevertheless an integral part of the use of “Zoom”, then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR is the legal basis for data processing. In these cases, our interest is in the effective conduct of “Online Meetings”.
Otherwise, the legal basis for data processing when conducting “Online Meetings” is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as the meetings are conducted within the framework of contractual relationships.
If there is no contractual relationship, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Here too, our interest is in the effective conduct of “Online Meetings”.
Recipients / Passing on of Data
Personal data processed in connection with participation in “Online Meetings” will not be disclosed to third parties as a rule, unless they are intended to be passed on. Please note that content from “Online Meetings” as well as from personal meeting meetings are often used to communicate information with customers, prospects, or third parties and are therefore intended to be passed on.
Other recipients: The provider of “Zoom” necessarily obtains knowledge of the above-mentioned data, insofar as this is provided for in our order processing agreement with “Zoom”.
Data Processing Outside the European Union
“Zoom” is a service provided by a provider from the USA. Thus, processing of personal data also takes place in a third country. We have concluded an order processing agreement with the provider of “Zoom” that complies with the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR.
An appropriate level of data protection is firstly guaranteed by the “Privacy Shield” certification of Zoom Video Communications, Inc., and secondly by the conclusion of the so-called EU standard contractual clauses.

In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites (“links”) that lie outside the area of responsibility of Zollcon GmbH, a liability obligation would only come into force if Zollcon GmbH had knowledge of the contents and it would be technically possible and reasonable for Zollcon GmbH to prevent the use in the case of illegal content. PayPal
We have integrated the PayPal payment option on this website. PayPal is an online payment service provider of PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
Payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual private or business accounts. In addition, PayPal offers the possibility to process virtual payments via credit cards if a user does not have a PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an email address, so there is no classic account number. PayPal enables online payments to be made to third parties or payments to be received.
PayPal also takes on fiduciary functions and offers buyer protection services. If the data subject selects PayPal as a payment option during the ordering process on our website, data of the data subject is automatically transmitted to PayPal. By selecting this payment option, the data subject consents to the transmission of personal data required for payment processing.
The personal data transmitted to PayPal is usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, telephone number, mobile phone number, or other data necessary for payment processing. Personal data related to the respective order is also necessary for the processing of the purchase contract.
The processing of your data is necessary for the fulfillment of the agreement on payment of your purchase via PayPal according to Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR.
The payment provider transfers, processes, and stores personal data outside the EU, which are necessary for payment processing. PayPal is solely responsible for processing this data.
PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. 22-24 Boulevard Royal L-2449 Luxembourg Luxembourg
The personal data exchanged between PayPal and us may be transmitted by PayPal to credit reporting agencies. This transmission aims at identity and credit checks. PayPal may pass on personal data to affiliated companies and service providers or subcontractors to the extent necessary to fulfill contractual obligations or for data to be processed in the order.
The data subject has the possibility to revoke consent to the handling of personal data at any time to PayPal. A revocation does not affect personal data that must be processed, used, or transmitted for (contractual) payment processing.
Details on payment with PayPal can be found in the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of the payment provider at: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full
